We create custom costume pieces, accessories, props, weapons and more for clients by commission. We focus on high-quality leatherworking, but are open to other materials as necessary to create the piece you are looking for.
A client can approach us with a concept or an idea that they have ready to go such as a picture of a costume piece from a video game or movie. Alternaivtely, we can work with you to come up with a design that is perfect for your needs.
We include the cost of the design and patterning into your project. Asking for a quote is FREE!
Yes, some of our more frequently ordered pieces can be found online at our Etsy shop. You can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/JAFantasyArt To request a quote on a custom piece, click here. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in a piece you saw at a convention, but is not immediately available on our Etsy.
This depends on the size of the piece. Something small like an eye patch can be out the door and shipped in a couple days. A full suit of armor will take considerably longer, but it all depends on the size and intricacy of the piece. If you need a piece by a certain convention or event, let us know and we will do our best to work with you to ensure you receive it in time.
We offer rush service depending on the complexity of your order, however we will not compromise on quality to ensure your order gets out the door. Contact us as soon as you can if you need a piece urgently.
NO! We will not turn down your order because it does not meet a minimum standard of cost. We believe everyone should have access to high quality leather goods regardless of the cost of your order.
We provide quotes uniquely based on a client’s desires. Our general rule of thumb is the more complex a piece and/or the more area it covers, the more it will cost. However, we will do our best to work within your budget.
We sure do. Generally, for larger projects we require a non-refundable 50% down payment up front to pay for materials and initial labor. The following 50% of the cost will be due upon project completion before the project ships.
We also encourage you to purchase items piece by piece if you cannot afford an entire larger project (like a full suit of armor) at once.
